Victorian Silver Plate Sugar Sifter
Victorian Silver Plate Sugar Sifter
This Early Victorian Silver Plate Sugar Sifter is beautifully crafted and delicate in proportion with its pierced pattern and beaded handle.
Made by Philip Ashberry & Son between 1872 -1892, this sugar sifter measures 17cm long and is a true piece of craftsmanship.
Sugar sifter spoons were developed in the mid-18th century and are similar in form and size to sauce ladles, but with flattened bowl bases. The bowls were decorated with elaborate pierced patterns.
I would not be able to personalise much on this piece due to the flat space available, but I could put some initials are the handle.
Simple add your personalised initials in the box above, purchase the item and I will hand stamp to your description.
All our items have quick postage with a 3-4 business day turn around.
It is advised that all pieces are handwash only
